What if a lost Van Gogh painting had been hiding in plain sight all along?

Vincent Van Gogh was an artist recognized for decades, mainly known for one of his best pieces, Starry Night.

Throughout the years, Van Gogh has painted many pieces, but they have been lost in the unknown of the world today.

This striking discovery of a possible Van Gogh painting that has been missing for who knows how long is mesmerizing to the eye.

This unnamed painting has found itself in an unwanted controversy causing people to question the painting alone and if it was painted by Van Gogh himself.

What secrets does this hidden painting hold? The painting shows a picture of a fisherman repairing his net while he smokes.

Van Gogh was known for painting some portraits, but they were mainly of himself.

Researchers state that this artwork was based on a Danish artist who has made a few fisherman portraits.

According to LMI, they expressed that this piece was, “...one of many of Van Gogh’s ‘translations’ of works by another artist.

”LMI is a data science program that uses technology to bring lost artwork to light.

In the bottom right corner of this artwork, it shows the wording, “Elimar,” which is engraved into the piece.

This program used mathematical comparisons of letters made by Van Gogh to prove that this engraving was created by Van Gogh.

Databases have also found out that this painting was created when Van Gogh was at a psychiatric hospital in Southern France.

Van Gogh was known for painting over 150 paintings during this time, so it’s not a huge surprise that one of his artworks was discovered at this time.

That said, researchers are still trying to figure out if the painting truly belongs in the Van Gogh museum, or if it was painted by him at all.

Who exactly created this hidden painting?

When LMI was using their advanced scientific tools and methodologies, they found a hair embedded in the painting.

They immediately tested it to see if it matched with Van Gogh’s DNA.

Sadly, the piece of hair was in such a “degraded state” that the analyst discovered it was too difficult to piece the investigation together.

The president of the LMI spoke up about how they are still faithful to this discovery and want tohelp recover more data.

In the press, Lawerence Shindell, president of LMI, stated, “...we aim both to expand and tailor the resources available to art authentication based on the unique properties of the work under our care.

”In 2018 the previous owner of this painting sent the artwork to the Van Gogh Museum believing this was truly one of his artworks, but they rejected it.

Even with this rejection, the LMI retrieved the painting in 2019 and believed this artwork was a work of Van Gogh’s and stood by that.

Does each paint stroke hold a strong back story of Van Gogh?

The LMI group knew a lot about Van Gogh, and for them, it was common knowledge thatVan Gogh lost his artwork, not particularly caring about the outcome of said artwork.

During the press report of the found painting, the LMI proclaimed, “It is well known that Van Gogh lost many works, gave away works to friends, and was not particularly careful about any work he considered a study, of which there were many.

”This organization believed that this painting was made during Van Gogh’s “tumultuous” part of his life.

It is claimed and possibly known knowledge that Van Gogh didn’t have the clearest mindset.

When analyzing his backstory, researchers discovered he was sent to a psychiatric hospital after cutting off his ear.

People also assumed he had illnesses like bipolar disorder or borderline personality disorder, but they were never diagnosed.

LMI imagines that this piece of art could’ve reflected Van Gogh’s rich emotions, which he might have been feeling during his sudden death.

Van Gogh’s history of art still impacts some artists in society today, which leads people to question this painting itself.

Now to answer the main question in people's minds, was this hidden artwork created by the man himself, Van Gogh?

The honest answer is we will never fully know, but we can assume it was based on all the backstory and secrets in the hidden painting.

It’s even heavily believed by the LMI, who spent hard work to prove it was his.

Though this artwork was rejected by the Van Gogh Museum, some people can still see a lot of light in it.

Each stroke of this painting has so many hidden details that only the painter can see.

This can bring inspiration to other artists who have found motivation within Van Gogh’s art.

Even with the little data we have on this painting, we can still visualize an artist who was full of light when making this artwork, which will possibly stay in the shadows forever.

Mic Snatched from fan at kpop concert

At the start of this year infamous K-pop boy band ATEEZ started their Towards The Light tour that spans across Europe, during one of these concert dates an incident occurred that left many fans upset and angry.

On February 3 2025 ATEEZ had their concert in Amsterdam Netherlands.

One member of the boy band, Mingi, decided to let a fan choose which member of the group would introduce the next song.

When he handed the mic to the fan to let her have her pick, as she was about to say her choice another fan took the mic from her.

The woman who took the mic from the original chosen fan then proceeded to make her own selection, all while the original fan was trying to make her choice heard and could be seen trying to speak into the microphone while saying “Mingi” which was the member she was trying to choose, but was turned down by the girl who took the mic while saying “no” to the original fan’s choice and slightly putting her hand up to deny the original fan from talking into the mic.

Then she proceeded to say “Yeah we all love you guys, but it's Wooyoung, I fear it’s Wooyoung”.

This action by the fan left many "atiny's" (ATEEZ fans) upset and many have gone online to make their statements about the incident, criticizing the girl for her “rude action” and how she disrespected the original fan and Mingi since he was the one who chose the fan in the first place.

Especially since "atinys" claim that some other "atinys" have been continuously rude to Mingi in the past.

The girl later went on and apologize, but people have felt her apology underwhelming “We all know she does not feel sorry for what she said, she just apologized cause we started calling her out” a netizen stated their opinion online after the incident.

This hasn’t just angered ATEEZ fans but also netizens (international fans that interact online ) saying how they couldn’t believe this action.

Since in their eyes she took away a very special moment for a fan that might not come again for a while. And that no K-pop fan needs to go through this treatment.

This has left people to reflect on how extreme K-pop fans can sometimes ruin or give a bad reputation to their community, and beloved K-pop groups and idols.

And how interactions like this one can affect a community's appearance.

Although this has been the only incident in ATEEZ’s tour so far, fan’s hope it’s the last.

They hope that the tour will continue to go smoothly and that the K-pop community takes away from this moment that no one should have their moment stolen for another fellow fan.

And that they're disappointed in the mic girl's actions, and hope this doesn’t happen again, and that no one repeated this incident to anyone else.

Beyonce's hit album ‘Cowboy Carter’ has won album of the year! This is the first time she has ever won album of the year. Being in the music industry for more than 30 years hasfinally paid off.

Cowboy Carter features melodies and rhythms of country, rock and roll, rhythm and blues, pop, and hip-hip.

The meaning behind the album is very powerful. It looks through the reinvention of America and describes the significant chances that has happened.Beyonce starting her career has brought her many great wonders and will continue to bring her more.

She started singing in 1998 with a girl group named‘Destinys Child’.

The group featured Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams. In 2006, Destiny’s Child split up and the singers went on their own. Beyonce left the group to peruse a solo career.

Beyonce stated that there was no bad blood upon splitting up and in the future, there was hope for reuniting and creating another album together.

“We'll come back and do another album for Destiny's Child, and hopefully it will broaden our audience, so it will help us all out.”

After starting her solo career, Beyonce has become more popular than ever!

She has come out with many albums containing many songs over the years. Some could even say she's lucky for coming out with Cowboy Carter because it helped her win album of the year.

Cowboy Carter came out in 2024, and it became very popular very fast.

The album is most known for its song ‘TEXAS HOLD ‘EM’ which became very trendy on the app TikTok.

The album has become so popular because the importance of it was to reach out to African American musicians who sing and write different genres of music.

The importance was also to not be afraid of who you are and what you want to do.

Many fans connected with that deeply because it signifies that they could do anything they wanted to without feeling judged.

They also felt connected to the album because Beyonce talks about slavery and how it made it impact on America and African Americans.

Capital Fm states that, “The word cowboy itself was used in a derogatory way to describe the former slaves as "boys," who were the most skilled and had the hardest jobs of handling horses and cattle, alike. In destroying the negative connotation, what remains is the strength and resiliency of these men who were the true definition of Western fortitude.

”Because of Beyonce’s thought and dedication she put into Cowboy Carter helped her win album of the year.

The album reached out to many fans and told the story of America being reinvented. It's very impactful because Beyonce told the cultural stories through her songs.

Many fans understood that these aren’t just songs that are fun to listen to, but they are songs with an educational purpose being told in a musical way.

Famed singer gains protection from mexico after carteal threats

It was last Tuesday when famed corridos singer Natanael Cano along with other artists were threatened by the Cartel for financially helping rival Cartel group.

The threat was given to Cano via banner telling him that it was his last warning.

“This is the last time you will receive a warning, just in time for you to cut the crap. Mind your own business,” the banner read.

“If you don't heed this warning, you will be shot. ”Info given to the AP (Associated Press) by the Sonoran prosecutor's office stated that the banner was hanging from a school and that they started investigating into it

The banner was signed by “Jalisco Matasales” who was a part of a faction within the Sinaloa Cartel called the Chapitos.

The Cartel gave this threat to Cano due to him being accused of financially helping a rival gang.

CorridosCorridos is a style of music often full of ballads that people such as NatanaelCano and Peso Pluma perform in.

A style that is in traditional Mexican style that has lyrics that tell a story.

Fore xample, the singer's life or a special event that happened to them

Like regional Mexican music Corridos is receiving a resurgence where many young artists such as Natanael Cano and Peso Pluma mixing classic styles with other genres such as trap music Corridos because of its and Mexican music's resurgence cause their numbers to go up 400% on Spotify and with singers like Peso Pluma even beating TaylorSwift being the most streamed artist on YouTube in 2023.

This style has often been linked to the life of drug violence which is why manyCorridos artists are often threatened.

This link also caused those such as the authorities to not like most Corridos artists like Cano. In fact, this is not the first time that the cartel has threatened an artist such as Peso Pluma after paying homage to drug kingpin Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán.

He was then threatened by rivals of the Sinaloa (the same cartel that threatened Cano) and forced him to cancel a show in Tijuana.

But even though it's often linked with drug violence they also often make music about those who were affected by drug violence to spread the word about it.

So even with their links to drug violence it can be seen that they are not biased to it, showing the harms and struggles of drug harm.

This not only shows the struggle of Mexico with its drug violence but to also show the lives who are connected to such violence.

Mexico’s Protection Allan de la Rosa, a spokesperson for the prosecutors explained that the government would give Cano along with the other artists who were threatened by the Cartel.

The reason given to why they are given states protection was “prevent any aggression related to the direct threat displayed on the banner.

"Unfortunately, didn't give out any more info like what kind of protection would be given

While also Canos team of communication not giving an immediate response to a request for comment.

Cano’s Response It was only a day later until we were given a response from Cano.

Many would assume that Cano would be worried or try to apologize to ensure that he is safe but to our surprise we are wrong.

Not only did Cano double down he did so on Instagram showing his product. In the Instagram post it showed a picture of Canos bed with blankets with his face on it.

On the post he says that "The only blankets I'm worried about right now.

Do you think they'll keep me warm?" which was a response to the banners.

It was clear that he isn't worried about the threat, in fact mocking the threat as well which will worry fans.

Only time can tell what the Cartel's response to this post will be.

What now? After Cano’s response to the threat, we are left asking “what will happen now?”.

Will the Chapitos see their plan through and if so, can Mexico keep Cano protected or will this become a dark even the entertainment industry will have to remember forever.

And as for Corridos, will they forever be linked to the life of drug violence, especially after Cano making it seem unlikely or will they finally be able to break that link, changing how Corridos is seen by the public.

And as for the reader, what is your opinion on the topic?

Are corridos just a genre linked to drug violence? Or is there something deeper to it that makes it where they don't deserve the negative views people have on it.

And as for Cano, was he wrong to do that post on Instagram which possibly ended his life?

Or maybe he was right to stand up for himself even if it means his life is put in danger.

All we can do now is hope that the protection given to him will keep I'm safe.
